Terms & Conditions
Power-Quinn English · Bleary, Craigavon, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
These terms do not affect any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted. Booking-specific prices, cancellation arrangements and other important details will be confirmed with you before you agree to a booking.
Payments
Payment must be made in full for all online courses before the start of each course. A 30% deposit must be paid to reserve a Homestay Programme. No booking is secure until Power-Quinn English acknowledges receipt of this deposit. This is non-refundable and covers all administration costs. The remaining balance for your full Homestay Programme needs to be paid in total 14 days prior to the start of your Homestay course. If not received within 14 days of your start date, your booking may be cancelled.
Lesson Cancellation
Lessons cancelled within 24 hours of the actual lesson time will be charged at full price for the lesson. If Power-Quinn English needs to postpone your class or rearrange your lesson time, your payment will cover the following lesson or you are entitled to a refund for that lesson.
Refunds
No refunds will be issued for non-completion of an online or Homestay course or missed lessons, late arrival or early departure from courses, no exceptions.
Transfer of fees
If a student is unable to attend a course that they have booked and paid for, once notice of more than 14 days is given, we will allow you to transfer your course fees to another course within one year.
Minimum enrolment
All courses are subject to a minimum number of 2 participants and Power-Quinn English reserves the right to alter course dates if deemed necessary.
Students’ Results and Expectations
Results for each course or exam are dependent on students’ personal level of commitment, participation and study. Power-Quinn English cannot guarantee success if students do not apply themselves efficiently and participate in all course lessons and complete all assigned homework and study tasks assigned to them.
Code of Conduct
All students are expected to behave in a respectful manner towards teachers, staff and fellow students online and during our Homestay Courses. All Power-Quinn English staff reserve the right to remove students from their online lessons or homestay programmes if they are behaving in an inappropriate manner. Refunds will not be issued in this instance.
Insurance
Power-Quinn English advises all Homestay students to purchase personal and medical insurance before arrival. Power-Quinn English does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to students’ personal property, accident or injury, however caused or sustained while taking part in Homestay Programmes with us. Any damage caused to property by students while on Homestay Programmes will have to be paid for by students or their parents if they are under 18 years of age.
